On June 16, 2010, COSCON was awarded "Carrier of the year" and "Carrier of the year- Far East Ocean" at the CIFFA Eastern Region Forwarder's Choice Awards 2010 in Montreal. This is the first time that COSCON awarded the "Carrier of the year" and the ninth year in a row that COSCON has won the "Carrier of the year- Far East Ocean".

CIFFA was founded in Montreal as early as 1948, with its members from Canadian freight forwarding companies. Every year the CIFFA award a prize to the best shipping and air-freight companies which services in Canada by anonymous ballot and on-line voting.
