Invited by the Greek Embassy and the Greek Consulate General in Shanghai, Captain Wei Jiafu, President & CEO of COSCO Group, attended the Greece Day events in Shanghai 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.

Captain Wei delivered a speech at a reception held by "Invest in Greece" on the afternoon of the Greece Day at the Greece Pavilion of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo. The reception was also attended by Hon. Louka T. Katseli, the head of Greek delegation and the Greek Minister of Economy, Competitiveness, and Shipping, Hon. Weng Mengyong, China's Deputy-Minister of Transport, H.E. Theodore Georgakelos, the Greek Ambassador to China, and Ms. Maria Saranti, the Greek Consul-general in Shanghai.    

On the evening of the same day, Captain received and hosted the Greek senior government delegation headed by Minister Louka T. Katseli at the head office building of COSCO Container Lines ("COSCON") in Shanghai. The dinner was also attended by key members of the Greek delegation as well as Mr. Sun Jiakang, Managing Director of  COSCON, Mr. Wu Shuxiong, Deputy Managing Director of COSCON, Captain Shi Meisi, Deputy Managing Director of COSCON and other representatives of COSCO Group.
