

On the morning of June 16, 2010, Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang, who was on a 3-day official visit to the Republic of Greece, made a visit to Piraeus Container Terminal ("PCT"), a subsidiary of COSCO Pacific Co Limited established under a 35-year concession agreement with the Port of Piraeus Authority ("PPA"). Vice Premier Zhang was accompanied by his senior government delegation including Li Shenglin, Chinese Minister of Transport, H.E. Luo Linquan, Chinese Ambassador to Greece, and other Chinese senior officials.
At the site of Terminal Two of PCT, Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang met with the crew members of M.V. COSCO Qingdao, a 5,400 TEU container ship berthing at the PCT terminal. After a photo session, Vice Premier Zhang expressed his warm greetings on behalf of the State Council of PRC to the COSCO Crew members, giving his best wishes for a pleasant Dragon Boat Festival to all Chinese seafarers serving on board of ocean going vessels.
The event was also attended by Xu Lirong, Vice President of COSCO Group, Wang Haimin, General Manager of Transport Div. of COSCO (Group) Company, Xu Zunwu, Managing Director of COSCO Bulk Carrier Co Ltd., Xu Minjie, Managing Director of COSCO Pacific Co Ltd., Wang Xingru, Managing Director of COSCO Shipyard Group Co Ltd and other senior executives from COSCO Europe, COSCO Greece, as well as the management and staff of PCT.
