Recently China COSCO was notified by League of American Communications Professionals ("LACP") that its 2008 annual report and monthly IR newsletter gained the sliver and bronze awards respectively. The 2008 annual report and monthly IR newsletter scored 96 and 95 (out of 100) respectively, which were among the highest score range.

The competition committee highly appreciated the annual report and IR newsletter. The judge commented the 2008 annual report as "an excellent resource for readers looking to understand the complete breadth and scope of the organization" and the IR newsletter as "a very professional and well-published newsletter", which "positions the organization as being blue-chip in nature and a leading pillar in both its industry and the greater business community".
