The Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co (NACKS), a joint venture of the COSCO Industry Company and its Japanese partner, has been the major ship builder of the COSCO.
Since the establishment in 1999, the NACKS has successfully delivered 10 large ships, including 5,400-TEU container ships, 300,000-DWT VLCCs, 5,000-CEU PCTC and 10,000-TEU container ships, gaining a competitive edge in high-end market.
