Solicitude for employees and their families

Each spring festival, to thank each employee parent’s nursing for his or her child and their contributions to the company, COSCO Group writes a congratulatory letter to the family of each employee on behalf of President and Secretary of Party Committee. In addition, COSCO sends 500 yuan to each employee’s parents and his or her mate’s parent respectively to express appreciation, and at the same time invites each employee’s family to share the achievements made jointly by staff of COSCO. For each employee’s birthday, the labor union of each subsidiary company sends birthday card as well as 300 yuan for congratulation. For the mid-autumn festival, each subsidiary gathers single employees to hold various parties, making them to feel passionate. When any employee is ill or encounter some accidents, the labor union of each company will provide assistance, and send flowers and condolatory money to express the most sincere blessing.

To solve ocean crews’ trouble back at home, COSCO Group has organized crew families and established 324 “Crew Family Connecting Network” nationwide, making crew families to help with each other. For example, when over 30 children of crews having economic difficulties are too poor to go to school, COSCO called on each departments and sectors to make donation. Within one hour, all children have got financial assistance and solve their difficulties.
