Using innoxious paint to protect sea lives |
In July 2005, subsidiaries of COSCO Group started the trial use of Intersleek organic silicon paint on ships. With the paint, the ships can extend the dock overhaul cycle from 30 months to 10 months, which will decrease the used paint amount and at the same time protect sea lives. In the next step, the paint is planned to spread using in all the COSCO Group.
