The "Green Passport" is an important concept that the International Maritime Organization put forward in 2003 for ship recycling. A list of potentially hazardous materials which might be found on board ships, it is aimed to conduct ship recycling more safely and environmentally friendly. Currently the Green Passport is an added ship sign at the free will of ship owners, which is fit for both newly built ships and in-operation ships.
COSCO Group has been paying close attention to the concept of Green Passport, actively tracing classification societies' establishment of related regulations and their implementation in the industry. The group will implement the Green Passport for its newly built ships, and plans gradual implementation in current ship management from next year on.
In principle, the group tries to repair the repairable spare
parts as much as possible, with the premise of quality assurance
and expenditure saving. No record for the utilization ratio
has been made.

Decreasing Burden of Office Environment |
To save paper, on one side, COSCO Group has popularized informationization, using digitalized management platform for file and information storage and trying to turn into paperless office work; on the other side, the group requires employees to use both sides of the paper to increase paper utilization ratio.
