COSCO (UK) Ltd commenced the business from Feb. 16, 1989. With a registration number of 2216271 and registered capital of 200,000 pounds, COSCO (UK) Ltd is wholly owned by COSCO Group with share capital of 1 million pounds and 1 million shares. Container-related departments and business of the former COSCO (UK) Ltd were hedged off to set up COSCO Container Lines (UK) Ltd. COSCO (UK) Ltd retained the subsidiaries and departments not engaged in container agency business. Currently, the headquarters of COSCO (UK) Ltd has 6 employees, including 1 employee dispatched from China; 26 employees in total in its subsidiaries, including 2 employees dispatched from China.
